Baptist Health in Corbin, KY is seeking a House Patient Care Coordinator for the full-time 3rd shift in Nursing Administration. The role oversees hospital operations, coordinates staffing and patient flow, and ensures safe, high-quality patient care while supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges.

The position serves as a clinical resource, leads during codes and emergencies, and addresses concerns from patients, families, staff, and physicians.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of three years of job-related experience required.
• Active RN license with the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.
• Certifications/training include BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, 12-Lead ECG, Nurse Wound Care, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, and Avade Training within post-hire timeframes.
• Clinical management experience preferred.

The Nursing Administration Department provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for nursing services throughout the organization. Nursing Administration is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting nursing staff, promoting professional development, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The House Patient Care Coordinator oversees hospital operations while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role serves as a clinical nursing resource, coordinates staffing and patient flow, addresses safety and operational concerns, and supports admissions, transfers, and discharges. More than 50% of the role is dedicated to coordinating and supporting direct patient care activities.
