The Sheldon Theatre is hiring a part-time House Manager for weekends and occasional weeknights. The role involves overseeing performance operations, managing front of house staff, ensuring patron safety and satisfaction, and coordinating with theatre staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise volunteer staff, including ushers, house monitors, and concessionaires.
  • Manage Front of House operations during performances and events.
  • Ensure safety, comfort, and enjoyment of patrons.
  • Coordinate pre-show meetings and training for volunteers.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for front of house operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and at least two years of face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Experience or volunteering in a performing arts setting is preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills and Knowledge:
