Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas and delivering items to guestrooms, such as express checkout materials and newspapers.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
3. Assist guests with luggage in a friendly manner.
4. Handle Lost and Found items per hotel standards.
5. Clean guestrooms as required.
6. Know and assist in emergency procedures.
7. Maintain hotel equipment and proper storage.
8. Complete assigned projects from the Housekeeping Manager.
9. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective communication skills in a friendly, courteous manner.
