We invite you to join the high-energy team at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Travel Guide Five Star Hotel on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with 25 oceanfront acres, 217 rooms & suites, five restaurants, boating, a private beach, full-service spa, 8-acre farm, and endless recreational activities. Open year-round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham’s charming Main Street and within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer.

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of all guest and public areas of the hotel, as well as delivering guest-requested items in accordance with standards and procedures of the housekeeping department as set forth by Forbes, AAA, and Chatham Bars Inn. General responsibilities include:

• Delivering guest-requested items
• Maintaining cleanliness of the housekeeping break room and storage areas
• Assisting room attendants where necessary
• Removing trash, linen, and terry from closets and multi-purpose units
• Delivering supplies, linen, and terry to closets and multi-purpose units
• Ensuring all closets and multi-purpose units are kept clean and organized
• Vacuuming and mopping hallways, staircases, and closets
• Dusting and/or polishing all surfaces in guestrooms and public areas
• Reporting maintenance deficiencies, guest requests, or complaints to supervisor
• Performing carpet maintenance in guestrooms and public areas

Requirements:

• Superior organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
• Good following of directions and meeting deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
