Assist in the moving of furniture from various locations to accommodate banquet needs. Additional responsibilities include those of a Bellman and Doorman when needed. Performs duties for scheduled projects related to maintenance as assigned by the Department Head.Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesUse correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and Club requirementsEnsure security of any assigned keys and radiosReview assignment sheet and update completed assignmentsOrganize work duty prioritiesReview assigned area and complete general removal of any trash or debris on floorsCollect linen carts from the laundry with clean linen and supplies. Transport linen carts to appropriate floor closets and neatly stock according to diagramMaintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor’ remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areasRemove all dirty linen from assigned Room Attendants carts and closets and transport to the laundryRemove all dirty glasses from assigned Room Attendants’ carts and closets. Transport to kitchen’s dish room glass washer and wash glass. Return clean and capped glasses to floor closets and place in racksClean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools and equipmentWipe down all surfaces of ice machines, counters and shelvesEnsure that nothing is stored in stairwellsCheck under furniture for debris and remove if presentInspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains and report damages to Housekeeping Office. Dust and polish all woodworkRemove all dust, debris and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushionsDust pictures, frames, mirrors, fire extinguisher boxes, exit signs, air ventsClean all lamps, light fixtures, light switches and check for proper working conditionRemove dust, spots and smears from windows, frames and ledges; wash windows as assignedRemove dust on drapes weekly and realign to correct position dailyRemove dust, dirt, marks and fingerprints from door and door framesRemove stains, scuff marks, and dust from baseboards, ledges and cornersPolish all brass surfaces to a high glossEmpty trash containers, ashtrays and ash urns in public areas into proper containers for recyclingUse designated chemicals, supplies and equipment to clean various floor surfaces (mops, buffers, vacuums, wet vacuums, extractor, shampoo machine, etc). Replace floor mats. Remove debris from elevator tracksEmpty vacuum cleaner bags, replace and clean machinesProvide timely delivery of ay items requested by guests.
