Location: 401 W. Las Colinas Blvd, Irving, TX 75039 (Note: online applications accepted only).

Schedule: Full-time, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends based on business needs. More details during the interview.

Requirements: Previous Sous Chef experience preferred. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Job Summary

Summary: Assists the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods. Coordinates activities of cooks and food-service associates. Takes responsibility for the kitchen and staff in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and standards, meeting deadlines based on production orders.
• Supervise hourly food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Store food properly following safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils; keep workstations clean; ensure display equipment is debris-free during service.
• Interact with customers to resolve complaints courteously and relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Understand and explain daily menu items accurately to staff and customers.
• Manage peak production and service hours effectively.
• Monitor inventory, deliveries, and track product usage and waste; inform supervisors of low supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
