Job Title: Hourly Sous Chef

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Hourly Sous Chef position at Eurest.

Location: 401 W. Las Colinas Blvd, Irving, TX 75039 (online applications accepted only).

Schedule: Full-time, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends based on business needs. More details available during interview.

Requirements: Previous Sous Chef experience preferred. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinate activities of kitchen staff, and assume responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food following recipes and standards, meeting production deadlines.
• Supervise food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Store food safely, following all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
• Interact with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisors.
• Understand and explain menu items to staff and customers.
• Manage peak production and service hours efficiently.
• Monitor inventory, deliveries, and waste, and inform supervisors of low supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
