Job summary

Lit Pizza is hiring an Hourly Manager to join our fast-casual team. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with starting pay of $11-12 per hour plus $4-5 per hour in tips, and a free meal with every shift worked.

Health insurance options and a flexible schedule are offered. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety, ensuring customer satisfaction, overseeing opening/closing procedures, assisting with POS transactions, and supporting the Restaurant Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year food service experience.
• Must complete state/local alcohol server training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with sharp/hot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food prep methods, portions and presentation meet standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of food lines, dining area, and restrooms.
• Oversee safe food handling, storage and preparation practices.
• Operate POS systems and process transactions as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and checklists.

Primary Duties:

• Ensures food preparation methods, portioning and presentation meet standards.

• Ensures customer satisfaction is achieved and food is prepared as requested by the customer.

• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the food lines, dining room, patio and bathrooms.

• Monitors and executes preparation, handling and storage of food to ensure food safety practices are met.

• Provides exceptional customer service.

• Prepares customer orders as requested.

• Prepares the restaurant for success by utilizing opening, closing and layover checklists.

• Restocks necessary items as needed.

• Takes phone orders.

• Completes transactions on POS system when necessary.

• Busses, cleans and sanitizes tables.

• Takes out trash.

• Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, and floors.

• Performs other duties as assigned, depending on the needs of the restaurant or company.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to move products or equipment up to 50lbs and work with sharp and/or hot equipment.

• Completion and certification of a state or local government approved alcohol server training program.
