Lit Pizza is hiring an Hourly Manager to join our fast casual team in Hammond, LA. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities and requires prior food service experience.

You will oversee shift operations, ensure quality, and deliver friendly customer service while supporting daily restaurant needs. Starting pay ranges from $11 to $12 per hour plus tips, with benefits including health options, 401(k) matching, flexible scheduling, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of food service experience.
• Alcohol server training certification required.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs and work with sharp/hot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food preparation meets standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, lines, and restrooms.
• Monitor and manage food handling and storage for safety.
• Handle customer orders and POS transactions.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and checklists.

Primary Duties:

• Ensures food preparation methods, portioning and presentation meet standards.

• Ensures customer satisfaction is achieved and food is prepared as requested by the customer.

• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the food lines, dining room, patio and bathrooms.

• Monitors and executes preparation, handling and storage of food to ensure food safety practices are met.

• Provides exceptional customer service.

• Prepares customer orders as requested.

• Prepares the restaurant for success by utilizing opening, closing and layover checklists.

• Restocks necessary items as needed.

• Takes phone orders.

• Completes transactions on POS system when necessary.

• Busses, cleans and sanitizes tables.

• Takes out trash.

• Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, and floors.

• Performs other duties as assigned, depending on the needs of the restaurant or company.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to move products or equipment up to 50lbs and work with sharp and/or hot equipment.

• Completion and certification of a state or local government approved alcohol server training program.
