Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts’ The Stoneleigh in Dallas seeks a Stewarding Assistant to support dishwashing operations and maintain cleanliness of Food and Beverage outlets. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and assisting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Candidates should be able to lift heavy loads, operate dishware equipment, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with service ware and guest-facing service.
• Ability to push/pull carts up to 150 pounds with/without accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 200lbs with/without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish/pot machines and wash.
• Maintain high physical stamina for high activity levels.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Operate burnishing machine for silverware finish.
• De-tarnish and polish silverware.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly.
• Meet attendance requirements and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
