Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an energetic Stewarding/Dishwashing Assistant to support the Food & Beverage Outlets in a busy downtown hotel. You will sort, wash, and store ware, polish silver, and keep kettles and pans ready for cooks.

The role requires physical stamina to lift, push, and move heavy items and to follow hotel standards closely. Join a diverse team and enjoy competitive benefits while contributing to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to support guest experience.
• Ability to push/pull service carts up to 150 pounds with/without accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with/without accommodation.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry or push goods on a hand cart up to 200lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing the Food and Beverage Outlets.
• Sort soiled ware for dish or pot machines.
• Wash ware and return to storage per hotel standards.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and water levels as required.
• Polish silverware to maintain appearance.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans quickly and completely.
• Support cooks by keeping work areas clear and ready.
• Attend regularly and be available to work as scheduled.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
