Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the night audit function at our Boston property. You will verify receivables, process city ledger payments, reconcile credit card backups, and ensure accurate posting in the General Ledger.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle invoices, and precise data entry. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred, with hospitalitiy/hotel experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred.
• Accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort and verify accuracy of Night Audit work and reconciling banquet extensions.
• Post city ledger payments in PMS, reconcile and bill city ledger accounts.
• Reconcile credit card backup to General Cashier Summary and manage logs for all cards.
• Set up new accounts according to policy and assist in reconciling open items.
• Enter General Cashier Summary and maintain binder; file and distribute credit card documents.
• Process approved invoices for payment and ensure proper signatures and backups.
