Job summary

Pittsburgh Marriott City Center, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a hospitality service professional to provide guests with exceptional service at the restaurant. You will greet guests, take and relay orders, and ensure accuracy while maintaining cleanliness and friendly interaction throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include operating POS, promoting menu items, and adhering to alcohol-service regulations.

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Be a team player and willing to pitch in.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Ability to promote menu items and specials.

Responsibilities

• Check station setup and cleanliness before, during and after shift.
• Greet guests courteously and explain specials.
• Record and repeat guest orders to ensure accuracy.
• Enter orders into POS and inform kitchen of details.
• Deliver orders to guests with condiments and check accuracy.
• Abide by all alcohol-service regulations.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Assist with dessert items and specialty coffees.
• Close out checks using POS and present to guests.
• Attend shifts regularly and perform other duties.
