• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Be a team player and willing to help coworkers.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Understand appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Recall and promote menu items with guests.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and operate POS equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt communication style to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials/promotions.
• Record order details and repeat back for accuracy.
• Input the order into the POS to inform the kitchen of details.
• Deliver orders to guests with appropriate condiments.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate alcohol policies.
• Replenish beverages and check overall guest satisfaction.
• Market and serve desserts or specialty coffees upon request.
• Use POS to pre-check orders and close the check.
• Present the check to guests promptly.
• Attend regularly and be available to work shifts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
