Job summary

DoubleTree Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by soliciting new group, corporate, and event business, managing key client accounts, and implementing strategic sales plans. You will lead business development, negotiate contracts, and align sales efforts with RevPAR goals.

The role requires 3–5+ years in hotel group, corporate, or conference sales, with strong skills in negotiation, prospecting, and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, marketing, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive hotel group, corporate, or conference sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Business Development & Prospecting: Proactively solicit new business through cold calling, outside sales calls, and networking.
• Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, tour operators, and repeat clients to maximize retention and lifetime value.
• Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare custom proposals, conduct property site inspections, negotiate room rates, and close contracts within established hotel guidelines.
• Revenue Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, and Catering teams to align group sales mixes with RevPAR and occupancy goals.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Assist or guide junior sales managers, represent the property at industry trade shows, and track sales pipeline data in CRM systems.

Experience

3 to 5+ years of progressive hotel group, corporate, or conference sales experience.

Technical Skills

Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and CRM platforms (such as Delphi FDC or brand-specific sales tools).

Core Competencies

Strong negotiation, cold-prospecting, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.

Compensation

$70,000 - $80,000 yearly
