Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an On-site Security Officer for the Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans to oversee safety programs and patrol the property. You will monitor CCTV, enforce procedures, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with department heads to protect guests, associates and vendors.

The role requires basic First Aid training, strong leadership, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Safety and security related courses preferred.
• Basic First Aid training required.
• Leadership skills to motivate staff.
• Team player with ability to work under pressure.
• Able to communicate clearly with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor and assist in hotel security and safety programs.
• Perform tours and inspections of the hotel complex.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce SOPs.
• Coordinate with department heads and MODs on security matters.
• Maintain key control procedures with Engineering.
• Document and report incidents accurately.
