Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach (near Convention Center) is seeking a Security Guard to protect guests, employees and hotel assets. Responsibilities include patrolling the property, monitoring access, and documenting security incidents.

Qualifications

• Current CPR and first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of hotel key system; issue and receive keys.
• Escort and witness cash handling as needed.
• Patrol all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots.
• Document a daily security log with incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Complete necessary security forms to document losses or injuries.
• Respond to emergency alarms, notify authorities and perform first aid/CPR as needed.
• Investigate security incidents and enforce hotel policies such as the No Solicitation Policy.
