Job summary

Harmony Hospitality in Virginia Beach (DoubleTree by Hilton) seeks an Entry Level Security Guard for on-site safety at the Convention Center area. The role focuses on protecting guests and property while supporting responsive security measures.

Responsibilities include patrolling all hotel areas, controlling access, documenting incidents in daily logs, and responding to alarms. CPR/First Aid certification, strong communication, and potential second language are desired.

Qualifications

• Education – High school diploma.
• Experience – Two years experience in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of hotel key system; issue and receive keys.
• Escort and witness cash handling as needed.
• Patrol all areas of the hotel property including outside parking lots; report any safety issues.
• Document a daily security log detailing theft, accidents and safety violations.
• Complete security forms to document losses or injuries.
• Follow hotel disaster and emergency policies; respond to alarms and provide first aid/CPR as needed.
• Investigate security incidents.
• Enforce No Solicitation Policy of the hotel.
