Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in Texas is seeking a Security Officer responsible for guest and employee safety, enforcing standards, and documenting incidents. The role supports emergency response and first aid, while conducting patrols and crowd control.

The position requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, and prior security experience is preferred. The resort offers extensive amenities and a commitment to guest service.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills to provide guests and colleagues elevated service.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Previous security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, Colleagues and hotel premises
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
• Investigate and report any violations to law or hotel policy
• Provide First Aid and C.P.R. as required
• Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
• Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
