Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Houston, TX to protect property and guests while upholding discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include patrolling campus facilities, directing traffic, responding to emergencies, and maintaining security equipment and first aid supplies. Flexibility in hours is required, with experience in security and POS systems preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must have 1-4 years previous security experience.
• Must have proficient technology skills with POS systems.
• Hours required: Scheduled days and hours vary based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Physical patrols of the campus buildings garages and surface lots
• Directing traffic as needed on campus
• Responding to Fire, medical and other emergencies on campus
• Maintenance of the Guest Room Safes, Golf cart and other Loss Prevention equipment
• Maintenance of First Aid Equipment, including all kits and Automatic External Defibrillators
