Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a vigilant Security Associate to safeguard hotel assets, guests, and staff. The role involves patrolling property, documenting incidents, and assisting in emergency responses to ensure safe operations across our properties.

The ideal candidate has strong life-safety knowledge, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills. A high school diploma is required, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of hotel layout and life safety systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and stand/walk for long periods.
• Proficient in using computers for report writing and data entry.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and de-escalation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and report unusual situations or security concerns.
• Document concise daily security reports including incidents and safety violations.
• Complete security forms and conduct investigations as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with disaster and emergency policies; respond to alarms.
• Maintain security of hotel key system and assist in shipping/receiving when needed.
• Enforce the hotel No Solicitation Policy and assist in cash handling transitions.
