Job summary

Astra Hotel Seattle is seeking a Security Officer responsible for the safety and security of the hotel, guests, associates and assets, with duties including valet, front office and night audit as needed.

The role requires PM and overnight shifts, with occasional overtime; schedules vary with business needs. Candidates must meet licensing and background requirements and be prepared to maintain a professional, customer-focused presence 24/7.

Qualifications

• Possess Security Guard Card issued by Washington State Department of Licensing
• Valid Washington Driver’s License with clean MVR
• Background check and drug screening will be performed
• Must be 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Provides basic customer service to enhance the guests’ stay.
• Delivers housekeeping items and performs valet/front desk duties as required.
• Regularly patrols building and secures assets.
• Inspects doors, windows, and corridors to ensure security.
• Maintains daily and incident/accident reports.
• Assists guests with information and directions and supports other departments.
