Job summary

The Space Needle is seeking a Guest Safety and Security Officer to safeguard guests and team members across multiple venues including CGG. You will patrol, monitor access control, and maintain a calm, professional environment while supporting guest experiences and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, administering First Aid/CPR/AED, and coordinating with security partners. This full-time, hourly role requires physical endurance and teamwork across locations.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or obtainable within timeline.
• Proficient with two-way radios and security software systems.
• Ability to prepare accurate, detailed written reports and logs.
• Demonstrated experience in verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate surveillance, access control and fire system equipment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated indoor and outdoor areas to deter theft and unsafe behavior.
• Monitor access points and ensure restricted areas are secure.
• Support guest experience and assist with wayfinding and safety inquiries.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate medical and safety measures.
• Coordinate with security operations and emergency services as needed.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure safety across venues.
