Job summary

Astra Hotel Seattle is seeking a Security Officer responsible for the safety of associates, guests, and hotel assets. This role includes basic guest service, valet, front desk and night audit duties as business requires, with emphasis on vigilance and professional conduct.

You will work PM and overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. A clean driving record, Washington Guard Card, and CPR/First Aid are preferred qualifications; training in TIPS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Verbal communication with Guests, management and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic customer service to enhance the guests' stay.
• Assist with valet, front desk and night audit duties as needed.
• Regularly patrol the property and secure assets per post orders.
• Inspect doors, windows and corridors to ensure security.
• Report defects or safety hazards and respond to incidents.
