Job summary

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is seeking a Security Officer for overnight coverage (11:00pm-7:30am) with flexibility for weekends and holidays. You’ll help protect guests and colleagues, follow safety procedures, monitor surveillance, and file incident reports.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous security experience strongly preferred.
• Special Police Officer license, or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the building to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor cameras and respond to security incidents.
• Complete incident reports and follow departmental procedures.
• Assist guests and colleagues with security-related needs.
