Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality seeks a Director of Sales to lead the hotel's sales and marketing strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving occupancy, revenue, and profitability through direct and group sales initiatives.

You will develop forecasts, budgets, and campaigns, mentor the sales team, and collaborate with General Manager and corporate partners to secure new business and nurture existing accounts in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience or a 4-year degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year degree with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for negotiating and influencing clients.
• Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate group, transient, and catering sales to maximize revenue.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, marketing, PR, and sales programs.
• Lead outside sales calls, tours, and client entertainment.
• Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Stay informed about market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Track top accounts and forecast future opportunities.
• Meet sales goals and budgets; train staff to seize opportunities.
