Job summary

Dreamscape Hospitality is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing teams, develop strategic plans, and drive revenue growth across group, transient, and catering segments. You will partner with General Manager and corporate HR to align goals and elevate guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in hotel sales or a 4-year degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for negotiating, persuading, selling, and influencing others.
• Strong proficiency in professional selling techniques and closing sales.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills for sales deployment.
• Proficient in general computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and presentation abilities.
• Experience working with diverse teams and clients in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all group, transient, and catering sales to maximize revenue.
• Develop and manage annual budget, marketing, PR, and sales programs to drive rates, occupancy, and F&B opportunities.
• Conduct outside sales calls, lead tours, and entertain clients.
• Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Track top accounts, forecast opportunities, and report on performance.
• Meet sales goals and budget targets.
• Train staff to seize sales opportunities and improve occupancy and revenue.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Corporate HR to manage the sales team and staff development.
• Oversee Catering & Event Management to meet budgets.
• Gain knowledge of hotel operations (Sales, F&B, Front Office, Reservations).
• Maintain local community and industry presence.
• Lead meetings and provide ongoing staff training.
• Build relationships with marketing partners and internal departments.
• Travel weekly as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
