Job summary

Sherman Associates, a premier hospitality group, seeks a Sales Manager to drive hotel sales, cultivate lasting client relationships, and maximize banquet, catering, and room revenues. You will collaborate with management to align Sales & Marketing efforts with ownership goals and brand standards.

The role emphasizes building brand awareness in the local community, exceeding revenue targets, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales.
• Proven track record of great guest services scores and meeting brand standards.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assists DOSM and F&B Manager with determining annual catering and F&B revenue goals and assists with controlling costs.
• Partners with F&B Manager to provide support in F&B operations for events.
• Ensures the sales call process is generating maximum profit for the hotel by implementing marketing strategies; analyzes trends and tracks results.
• Develops and executes new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
• Responsible for selling/coordinating meeting space and food and beverage service.
