Job summary

LBA Hospitality in Mobile, AL, is seeking a leadership-level sales professional to assist the Director of Sales in driving revenue and market share for the hotel. The role focuses on targeting key segments/accounts, executing quarterly sales plans, and meeting revenue goals in a competitive market.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, prospecting, contract negotiations, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; College Degree (BS/BA) preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Previous hotel sales experience preferred as a sales coordinator, hotel operations, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience selling Marriott, Hilton, Best Western and IHG hotels - Hilton Focus Service, and/or Full Service (where applicable) and/or Extended Stay lodging, or tourism/hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiry calls, proposals, negotiations, and contracts; document sales activities in STS Cloud or Delphi.fdc depending on brand.
• Books appropriate business to achieve/exceed monthly revenue budgets.
• Maintain proactive relationship building and prospecting to meet goals.
• Use property's sales management system to manage business and generate reports.
• Prospect for new business using brand reports, local media, online tools and industry sources.
• Follow up via email for client visits, site visits, or cold calls; stay engaged with clients.
• Contribute input to annual budgeting for revenue generation and promotions.
