Job summary

A national Hotel Management Group seeks an experienced Hotel Assistant Director of Sales for their first DOS position at an IHG Hotel in the Jacksonville, FL area. The ideal candidate will have a strong tenure with IHG at full-service properties and will be a Hotel Ambassador and Team Builder who drives rapport with clients.

Responsibilities include leading the Sales and Marketing team, expanding the client base, and monitoring market trends while fostering a stable and positive work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Sales experience.
• IHG Sales experience.
• Must currently be working for an IHG brand.
• Experience with hotel systems like Delphi, Opera, Meeting Broker, Agency360/Demand360 is a plus.
• Experience in Budget Preparation, Forecasting, Revenue Generation, Analytics, Coaching and Sales team management.
• Past Hotel Director of Sales experience is a plus.
• 4-year College Degree or Equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall success of the Sales and Marketing team to maximize total revenue and ensure sales goals are met and exceeded.
• Established client base and cultivated relationships, building business and a stable environment for the team.
• Spend time out of the hotel surveying market and comp sets, researching new clients and opportunities.
• Observe local market trends.
• Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads.
• Support and develop the Sales Managers.
