Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn North Park in St Louis, MO is seeking a Sales Marketing Leader to develop and implement a successful marketing and solicitation strategy to secure new business and maintain existing clientele for maximum profitability and guest service excellence.

The role requires 5–7 years in hotel sales with at least 2 years in a leadership role, and a college degree in marketing or hotel management. Travel may be required as part of outreach.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to college degree or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
• College degree with marketing or hotel major is preferred.
• Five to seven years in the hotel sales discipline, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Direct the solicitation efforts of the sales staff and oversee group room sales commitments.
• Prepare reports on Sales, Front Office and Housekeeping; manage business plans and budgets.
• Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations and site inspections for large groups.
• Coordinate market research to detect trends and develop new strategies.
• Collaborate with Reservations to determine selling and control strategy.
• Train and develop Sales staff and ensure LM Services’ standards are met.
