Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support event planning and group bookings for hotel events. You will handle calls, assist with group room blocks, and coordinate with Sales and Events teams to ensure smooth execution.

The role involves site visits, preparing proposals, and posting group details in SalesPro and OnQ, requiring strong MS Office skills and fast typing. A proactive team player is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm.
• Answer phones.
• Attend sales meetings as needed.
• Represents the hotel at events hosted by local organizations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiates group bookings for groups 10 rooms and under peak night.
• Handle rooming lists, tax exemptions, invoices and room assignments for all groups.
• Create all groups in R&ILoad and update local negotiated rates.
• Submit Event Planner Points for Groups and Events.
• Update Preferred rates list.
• Prepare weekly group resumes and distribute to Front Desk.
