Job summary

Liv Hospitality at Courtyard by Marriott in Box Elder, SD seeks an Event Coordinator to manage group and corporate sales at the property and drive flawless events. You will guide site visits, coordinate logistics, and prepare BEOs using Salesforce Delphi while partnering with sales, banquet and kitchen teams.

The role offers a base+commission salary and daily responsibilities centered on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group and corporate sales efforts at the property level.
• Plan and host site visits for potential Guests when contracts are not signed.
• Coordinate event logistics to ensure smooth execution, including setup and budget.
• Communicate with the group's point of contact and finalize BEOs.
• Prepare BEOs in Salesforce Delphi and manage all event details.
• Coordinate with sales, banquet, and kitchen departments to fulfill needs.
• Execute events to maximize revenues and upsell for banquet.
• Convey a positive, professional image and demeanor.
• Become proficient in Salesforce Delphi and catering management software.
• Prepare final invoices covering room rental, F&B, A/V, taxes and fees.
• Follow up with Guests to ensure satisfaction and future visits.
• Note: outside sales calls are not required.
