Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Rooms Inspector to monitor the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas and to ensure friendly, attentive service from the housekeeping team. You will work within labor and budget guidelines while maintaining brand standards across the property.

Key duties include supervising linens, sanitation, and room readiness, assisting guests promptly, and communicating effectively with colleagues to maintain a high level of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating the activities of the Housekeeping Team, including schedule entries and clock-in/out.
• Maintain key control and safety procedures for guests and associates.
• Assist with monthly inventories, proper ordering, receiving and maintenance of supplies.
• Clean vacant rooms to guest ready status and restore occupied rooms within time and accuracy standards.
• Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in housekeeping training and on checklists.
• Report discrepancies to the Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
• Maintain other hotel areas in a clean and orderly condition (break room, restrooms, public areas).
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately.
• Maintain guest privacy and professional appearance; communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
