Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a Rooms Inspector for Indigo Raleigh in North Carolina. The role ensures guest rooms and public areas are cleaned, inspected, and maintained to the highest standards while training staff on service and cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping associates, inspecting rooms and areas, assigning tasks, managing supplies, handling guest requests, and participating in emergency procedures to protect guests and assets.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Previous hotel experience required.
• Ability to interpret reports and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, counsel and train Public Area Attendants, Room Attendants and Linen Runners.
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, SOPs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs and SOPs and health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
• Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction. Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guest, staff and company assets.
• All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
