Job summary

Residence Inn Greenville is seeking a detail-oriented Room Inspector to uphold brand cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas. You will train housekeeping staff, manage inspection procedures, and plan schedules to minimize disruption to guests, while ensuring prompt, high-quality guest service.

The role emphasizes independence, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Room Attendant role in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
• Must have attention to detail with the ability to be thorough in your work.
• Must be able to work independently while maintaining timelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains BRAND cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure standards are met.
• Trains staff in housekeeping including guest service.
• Administers guest satisfaction inspection procedures and reports.
• Plans work schedules and room assignments with minimal disruption to guests.
• Responds promptly to guests’ needs with a focus on satisfying every guest.
• Empowers hotel staff to deliver great guest service by encouraging responsiveness to guests’ needs.
• Ensures housekeepers know responsibilities and manage against those responsibilities.
• Recognizes and corrects conditions creating hazards.
