Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is hiring a Room Attendant for Indigo Raleigh in North Carolina. You will clean and prepare guest rooms to standards of cleanliness and propriety, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenues.

The position requires physical stamina for lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, cleaning responsibilities across rooms and public areas, and maintaining cart and supply organization. Training is minimal, and the role offers opportunities within a growing hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies, maintaining carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways and cleans bathrooms.
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature.
• Vacuums rooms, public areas and hallways and moves heavy furniture as needed.
• Inspects locks and room equipment and reports deficiencies to maintenance and management.
• Maintains custody of equipment, keys and supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
