Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Housekeeper to clean guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines and procedures. The role emphasizes delivering the best possible guest experience and maintaining cleanliness across assigned areas.

Responsibilities include stocking carts, reporting issues, assisting guests, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Training through Extended Stay University is required for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, meet time objectives and productivity standards.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a 100% commitment to guest and associate experience.
• Cleans assigned guest rooms per company standards and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed.
• Reports maintenance issues to the front desk/manager on duty.
• Reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room to the front desk/manager.
• Assists with guest requests when possible and practical.
• Follows safety and security policies and completes required training.
