Job summary

Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, a Colwen Hotels Property, seeks a Restaurant Supervisor to coordinate, supervise and direct our on-site food and beverage operations. You’ll control costs while driving guest and associate satisfaction, and work with hotel leadership to ensure excellent service.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, setting targets and budgets, ensuring service standards, and developing menus with the F&B team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coordinate, supervise and direct all property food and beverage operations
• Control food and beverage cost while driving guest satisfaction
• Work closely with sales teams and Hotel General Managers at assigned hotel
• Recruit, interview and hire food and beverage staff associates for assigned hotel
• Train and support all food and beverage associates and ensure performance per hotel Colwen standards
• Set departmental targets and budgets; create work schedules
• Ensure sequence of service standards are met
• Adhere to all required food and beverage standards
• Develop menus with the food and beverage team
• Hold regular departmental meetings; document agenda and attendance
• Conduct pre-shift meetings daily or as needed
• Keep staff updated on drinks, specials, wines, beers, etc.
• Audit bar operations and cost controls for efficiency
• Monitor liquor sales and product mix
• Educate staff and maintain proper controls with bartenders
• Comply with all liquor/food safety laws and regulations
• Maintain inventory controls and order supplies
• Receive, check and document all food and beverage deliveries
• Perform accurate cash-out procedures at shift end
• Evaluate market trends for liquor specials and presentation
• Perform other duties as assigned
