Job summary

Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, a Colwen Hotels Property, seeks an experienced Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of meetings and social events. You will act as the primary client liaison, coordinating with hotel operations to ensure seamless service from start to finish.

The ideal candidate brings strong event management experience, a proven sales background in catering, and leadership to drive guest satisfaction and revenue for the property.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and catering experience with a strong emphasis on social events.
• Proven track record in social and corporate catering.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Strong leadership of people.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Delphi).
• Familiar with common computer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hotel operations teams and clients to ensure flawless meetings and events.
• Manage booking process, assess client needs, and coordinate food, beverage, décor, A/V, and venue options.
• Serve as main client contact and oversee events through execution.
• Oversee banquet staff and service quality during events.
• Develop sales and marketing strategies for the hotel.
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate billing and payments.
