Job summary

Colwen Hotels in Framingham, MA, is seeking an experienced Banquet Bartender for Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center. This on-site role requires prompt beverage service during events and a friendly guest experience.

You will maintain bar setup, stock, and cleanliness while upselling drinks and adhering to liquor laws. The position supports a fast-paced environment and guest satisfaction across multiple events.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending experience.
• TIPS certification or state equivalent.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale system.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and/or service.
• Ability to remain calm with difficult guests.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and service focus.
• Must meet legal age requirements.
• Ability to work 7 day rotational schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and welcome guests with a smile and greet by name when possible.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and menu items to guests.
• Oversee liquor and bar supplies stock.
• Prepare guest checks and process payments.
• Light food prep and service as needed.
• Promote and upsell drinks and promotions.
• Create beverages with proper portion controls and avoid over-serving.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and brand standards.
• Set up bar before opening and maintain cleanliness.
