Job summary

Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center is seeking experienced servers to join our restaurant team in Framingham, MA. You will be the face of our dining experience, greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, answering questions about the menu, maintaining knowledge of items, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires 18+ years of age and availability for a 7-day rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible).
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items.
• Answer questions regarding the menu.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
• Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen.
• Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal.
• Adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies.
• Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures.
• Set tables to standards, and ensure that all items are clean and in good repair.
• Prepare guest checks and collect payment.
• Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, you may required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift
