Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an experienced server to join our team on-site. This position pays $10.98 per hour plus tips and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

You will provide friendly, timely service to guests in a fast-paced hotel dining environment. Candidates should be able to communicate with varied guests, handle cash and payments accurately, and work a standing shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with guests in the predominant language(s).
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Record orders accurately and enter into register.
• Process payments and make change as needed.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant areas.
• Clear and reset tables in dining area.
• Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory.
• Be available to fill in to ensure smooth restaurant operation.
