Engage with the Purchasing Director and department heads to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; lifting up to 75 pounds is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Refined communication; able to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic computer literacy including Word and Excel; willingness to learn Birchstreet.

Aufgaben

• Support the Purchasing Director with sourcing and procuring goods and services required by the hotel, including food and beverage items.
• Evaluate, select and build relationships with suppliers; monitor their performance.
• Implement inventory management best practices and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Ensure timely delivery of items by working with department heads.
• Receive and ensure all purchased goods meet hotel standards and specifications.
• Oversee storeroom operations and daily requisitions; process invoices electronically.
