Job summary

Hampton Inn and Suites- Opelika, AL is seeking a Houseperson to maintain spotless public areas and ensure guests feel comfortable in their environment. You will clean lobby, restrooms, gym, elevators, and more, while assisting in guest room duties as needed and reporting maintenance issues promptly.

The role emphasizes delivering items to rooms, stocking supplies, and completing brand training within 90 days, with a focus on achieving high guest satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public areas including lobby, lobby restrooms, banquet rooms, gym, elevators, hallways, entries, stairwells, cart rooms, guest laundry, etc.
• Empties trash containers and delivers items to guest rooms when requested.
• Reports maintenance deficiencies to maintenance and/or the General Manager.
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms, as needed.
• Performs deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.
• Assists in cleaning guest rooms and maintenance as needed.
• Completes all brand training within the first 90 days.
• Aims to achieve and exceed the guest satisfaction score.
