Job summary

Hampton Inn Prattville is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay. You will clean guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, make beds, handle laundry and ironing, and support general cleaning duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of professional housekeeping experience, an eye for detail, and strong time management, organization, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper is preferred.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries and assist with needs as they arise.
• Ensure guest rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy to hotel standards before arrival.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways and lobby.
• Make beds, change linens, stock rooms with supplies, do laundry, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Document rooms cleaned and report any damages or missing items.
• Apply cleaning techniques and products according to hotel standards.

We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional.

• Respond to general inquiries from guests
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive
• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills

Compensation

$11 - $12 hourly
