Job summary

The Westin Resort Guam is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public hotel spaces, corridors, lobbies, and assigned areas. You will also support maintenance tasks and follow work orders to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, and ensuring safety procedures are followed while preserving a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus on tasks despite interruptions or emergencies.
• Memorize dates, names, times, and other data accurately.
• Maintain courtesy and professionalism with guests and staff.
• Follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions precisely.
• Engage in continuous cleaning activities for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas in the hotel and assigned spaces.
• Remove trash from public areas and assist with lobby and corridors.
• Enter offices for maintenance tasks and pest control as needed.
• Follow work orders to fulfill guest and office service requests.
• Ensure doors, lobby fountain, and glass surfaces are clean and maintained.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE when handling chemicals.
• Complete tasks and maintain a neat, safe work area.
