Job summary

The Westin Resort Guam is seeking a hotel concierge/guest services team member to assist guests with luggage, arrivals and departures, and to coordinate room service and transportation as needed.

You will greet guests, escort them to rooms, handle luggage and storage, answer calls, and maintain knowledge of local events. A professional appearance and strong communication skills are essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus and maintain performance under frequent interruptions.
• Memorize and recall dates, names, and times accurately.
• Calmly handle irate guests and communicate with guests, supervisors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with arrivals/departures and escort to rooms.
• Load/unload luggage from vehicles and manage guest storage and security.
• Take room service orders and relay to kitchen or expediters, upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and assist concierge duties.
• Provide menu knowledge and information on hotel events and activities.
