Job summary

The Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public and back-of-house spaces, ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces, restock supplies, and assist with safety and upkeep across lobbies, meeting rooms, restrooms, and outdoor areas, collaborating with the Housekeeping team to deliver Marriott-brand service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Public Area Cleaning: clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, restrooms, offices, and guest areas.
• Resort appearance: maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and outdoor spaces.
• Guest service: greet guests and respond to requests with a service-minded attitude.
• Safety & compliance: follow safety policies and use PPE; report hazards.
• Teamwork & communication: coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and others.
