Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Las Vegas is seeking a Pool Attendant to help manage the pool area, ensure guest safety, and maintain cleanliness. You will monitor pool usage, ensure only registered guests and their guests access facilities, and perform general housekeeping duties around the pool.

Applicants should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, with a strong work ethic and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service or housekeeping experience at a hotel or related field.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of hotel guests in the pool area by monitoring usage and ensuring guests follow safety rules.
• Limit pool access to registered guests and their guests.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness, using a checklist to monitor quality regularly.
• Keep pool decks, chairs, and surrounding areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool restrooms and keep supplies stocked.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Manager.

Job Description:

• Ensure the safety and security of the Hotel guests while in the pool area by monitoring pool usage and ensuring that guests are abiding by published safety rules and guidelines.
• Ensure that only registered guests and their guests utilize the pool facilities.
• Ensure the upkeep, cleanliness and housekeeping of the pool area; utilize a pool area checklist to monitor quality on a regular basis.
• Keep pool decks, chairs, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of potential safety hazards.
• Ensure the cleanliness of pool restrooms and maintain a sufficient inventory of supplies.
• Perform other related duties as directed by Manager.
